What Kind of Cyclist Are You?
This is an Fun post from the AWESOME people over at www.good.is
you MUST follow this page (theirs, not so much mine.....
(but you can follow mine. I post fun stuffs too sometimes.)
Anyways, www.good.is is a web site that post real life news that is happening Now and not REAL new \of what is happening no. REAL people write the articles. you know, the same as the real "regular" people (in jeans and t-shirts like you and I. )
They even have this AWESOME section http://maker.good.is/ that "gives individuals and organizations the ability to tap into the public's creativity and energy to address an issue that's important to them." This is were you can Submit great ideas to help out communities to organizations. One of my favorites is this one, http://clifbarbikes.maker.good.is/

The Specifics
In honor of National Bike Month and the
we’re asking individuals and nonprofits to generate and share ideas to promote bicycling in the community. We know that biking is good for our health, the environment, and the community, so tell us how you’d use $1,000 to get your neighbors on bikes!
We’re looking for fun community event ideas— anything from a bike wash to a bike parade to a pop-up bike repair day. Share your best idea with us here and we’ll let your fellow GOOD readers choose the most “whim-cycle” and inspiring submission to win the $1,000. Note that projects must be implemented within three months of receiving the grant.
Submit a proposal from May 14 to June 11 (noon Pacific Time). From June 11 to June 25, we’ll open it up to public voting. Rally your colleagues and friends to get behind your effort and join the GOOD community in selecting the winner.

Submission tips:
- Include a photo or video that represents your idea. Photos should be in JPG, PNG, or GIF format, at least 570 × 345 pixels and no larger than 10MB. To include a video, use a YouTube URL.
- Write at least 3-5 sentences that explain how the $1,000 award will enable you to implement your idea.
- Email us with any questions at maker@goodinc.com
Rules & Regulations
- This Challenge is open for submissions from May 14 to June 11 (noon Pacific Time). Individuals and nonprofits are eligible to apply.
- Submitted projects must be able to be activated with $1,000 within 3 months of receiving the grant. Let us know how you’re going to put this money to work!
- Projects will be featured on this page and public voting will be open from June 11 to June 25 (noon Pacific Time).
- The project with the most votes will receive $1,000 to implement their idea.
- In order to vote, log in with your GOOD account. If you don’t have a GOOD account, it’s free to join. All you need is an email address or a Facebook account to register. You will be emailed a link that you need to click in order to validate your address.
- Read all the rules.
